High precision and utilisation of the latest technology are two elements which are key to the success of our implant dental practice. In fact, all implant work is guaranteed with peace of mind 10year warranty.
Dental Implants are medical grade titanium screws that are placed into your jaw bone to replace missing tooth roots as it were. New bone then develops around the titanium screw in place, to form a near perfect union- the implant is effectively fused to your jaw bone. A porcelain crown (new tooth) is then attached to the dental implant, resulting in a beautiful artificial new tooth that looks and feels real and is just as robust as the rest of your teeth.
IMPLANT SEQUENCE
With a dental implant, there is no need to grind down the healthy adjacent teeth. The implant provides support for the crown.
RELAX
Our range of sedation options adequately caters for the nervous and anxious.
INTRAVENOUS SEDATION
IV sedation is a safe and predictable method providing patients with a relaxing and comfortable feeling at any dental appointment. Our board registered dental anaesthetists administer chair-side sedation making long appointments feel to be over in just a few minutes.
LAUGHING GAS
Laughing gas is administered by a gas mixing machine in our dental surgery. It contains nitrous oxide and oxygen gases delivered via a mask over your nose. It is a very safe option and effective at promoting relaxation at the dental office. Laughing gas is also very short acting, which means the effects wear off a few minutes after you have stopped using it
ORAL SEDATION
Oral sedation involves taking Valium drug 30 to 60 minutes before your appointment. This is normally administered under the tongue allowing you to control the exact dosage and effects. You can request oral sedation for any of your appointments. We suggest you do not drive yourself home as the effects may last for hours.
PENTHROX SEDATION
Penthrox inhalers, also known as the green whistle-as seen on TV on Bondi Rescue. The effects are similar to laughing gas but the inhaler is handheld and allows the patient to take full control of how much sedation they desire. It can be inhaled before and during most dental procedures and offers pain relief and relaxation. Extremely safe with short acting effects .
